Kamryn Richard of Townsend was selected as one of three winners chosen by the New England Revolution to perform the national anthem at a Revs home match during the 2017 season. She earned the opportunity by edging out the competition during the fifth annual New England Revolution National Anthem Auditions on March 9 at the Lansdowne Pub in Boston. The event was also part of the club's official 2017 Pub Tour presented by Budweiser.

Kamryn performed an outstanding rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner and was crowned a winner along with Jackie Foster of Boston, and "B.L.C." trio members, Brooke Boucher of Fairhaven, Livia Pavao of Fall River, and Courtney LaMonica of Acushnet.

The guest judges -- New England Revolution players Kelyn Rowe and Brad Knighton, and Heather Ford of 100.7 WZLX -- were tasked with cutting down 15 finalists to three winners. Bri Eggers of 7News Boston served as emcee.
