AYER -- St. Andrew's is a family-friendly Episcopal Church serving Ayer and surrounding towns. Christian Education for children is held each week at 9:45 a.m. in the Parish Hall for preschool through high school.

We use "The Catechesis of The Good Shepherd" curriculum, which is a hands-on, developmentally sensitive way of introducing children ages 3 to teen to Jesus, the Bible, and the liturgy using the Montessori Method. Three groups meet on Sundays beginning at 9:45 a.m. Classes join the adults in worship at the peace.

Nursery is available every week year around

On Sept. 7, the 2014/2015 Sunday School year begins with registration and an open house.

At 10 a.m., Intergenerational Service (children are in church for a children's sermon and welcome back).

Registration follows the service during coffee hour held in the Parish Hall with the classroom open house downstairs in the classrooms following 10 a.m. service

Parents and children should plan to come downstairs and meet the teachers and learn about our program. Children can become familiar with the room and routine.

Come and visit us. Summer services are at 9 a.m. On Sept. 7, we return to two services at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.
