Hildreth Elementary School is seeking to fill an open "community member" position of its School Council. This is an appointed position, which is part of the overall 10-member School Council, which also includes faculty and elected parent members. The council meets monthly for approximately one and a half hours.

"We are fortunate in the Harvard community to have such great collaboration with the community to provide our children with the best learning opportunities, " explained Dr Linda Dwight, HES Principal, who will make the appointment. "This is another great way for an interested community member to get involved and I look forward to speaking with candidates."

The community member position cannot be filled by a parent of a HES student or faculty member -- it is a position for a member of the larger Harvard community. Those interested should contact Dr Dwight before Sept. 28 at 978-456-4145 or ldwight@psharvard.org .

The Harvard Public Schools are dedicated to giving every student the opportunity and means to acquire essential and applicable knowledge, as well as helping students develop the interpersonal skills necessary for becoming responsible citizens.
