GROTON -- Groton Local will host its annual Pot Luck Supper Celebration of Community on Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 21, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Groton Grange, 80 Champney St.

This year we are looking forward to a presentation by Nashua River Watershed Association's Smart Growth Circuit Rider Mark Archambault. He will bring us up to date on the world's environmental condition, including fossil fuels, water, renewable-energy sources and more. How does it affect us locally?

This annual potluck has become known for delicious food and community spirit. Come celebrate with Groton Local and learn about our 2013 plans. This potluck is free for all to enjoy.

All are asked to bring a savory dish to share with others. Finger foods, desserts, nonalcholic drinks or your favorite special dish. This is also a good time to consider renewing your annual membership or becoming a new member of Groton Local. For information and/or to volunteer at the potluck, call Jim at 978-302-5611.
