GROTON -- New Library Director Vanessa Abraham brings a wealth of experience and vision to the Groton Public Library as of Dec. 12. Abraham served as assistant director of the Bedford Free Public Library for the past 12 years, managing the library in coordination with the director, supervising over 60 staff members, and taking part in all financial decisions. Her core philosophy is that customer service is top priority. She believes that "libraries will continue to thrive as long as they remain relevant to consumers and responsive to the changing needs of the community they serve." Drop by today to welcome our talented new director!
Cozy winter Sundays at GPL start Jan. 6 from 1-5 pm and last through April 28 (closed March 31).
The library will be closed on Dec. 25 and on Jan. 1, but open regular hours otherwise.
