GROTON -- Please join the New England Forestry Foundation and consulting forester Gary Gouldrup Friday, Nov. 16, for a tour of our current timber harvest at Wharton Plantation beginning at 8 a.m.
This walk is an opportunity for community residents and others to learn more about the goals of this harvest, as well as our approach to sound forest management on our woodlands throughout New England.
Directions: Participants should plan to meet at the field on Rocky Hill Road, located approximately 50 to 100 yards from its intersection with Old Dunstable Road.
