Well adult clinics in August

Nashoba Associated Boards of Health, in conjunction with the Ayer Board of Health, announces that a Well Adult Clinic will be held free of charge for the general public:

Friday, Aug. 15, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Senior Center, 18 Pond St., Ayer. No appointment is necessary.

Fridays, Aug. 8, 15, 22 and 29 at the Town Nurses office, 51 Cambridge St., Ayer, by appointment only.

Devens Citizens Advisory Committee meets Aug. 11

The next Devens Citizens Advisory Committee meeting is on Aug. 11 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the first floor conference room at 33 Andrews Parkway. The committee will distribute its meeting agenda the week before, and the public is welcome to attend.

Annual clam bake Aug. 16

The Ayer Gun & Sportsmen's Club will hold its annual clam bake on Saturday, Aug. 16, from noon to 6 p.m.; music will be performed from noon to 7 p.m. The live band, Mumbo Jumbo, will perform from 3-7 p.m.

Food choices include lobster, clams, French fries, fried dough and more with fun activities for the kids!

The rain date is Aug. 17. The club is located at 255 Snake Hill Road.
