PEPPERELL -- Charter Communications announced today members of its public access team will be front and center bringing to the residents of Pepperell exclusive live coverage of the annual town of Pepperell 4th of July Parade on Charter Channel 15.
The annual parade organized by the Pepperell 4th of July Committee will take place Saturday, July 5, at 12:30 p.m. The parade route will start at the Town Hall, 1 Main Street.
"We are very grateful that this year, Charter Communications has offered to assist us in providing a live telecast of our parade for our viewing audience," said Richard Potts, chairman, Pepperell Community Media, Inc.
Pepperell's Fourth of July gala draws crowds from far and wide. As many as 15,000 people gather to start the day with the parade led by the Parade Marshall, followed by marching bands, local organizations, invited guests, military groups, town officials, Shriners and their mini-cars, the Pepperell tractor roll-out, the region's ladder trucks, pumpers, rescue vehicles and the Pepperell Police Department.
"The Charter Public Access team is proud to be in Pepperell telecasting the town's 4th of July annual parade celebrating our nations independence," said Mike Marcy, director of local programming for Charter TV3.
"The telecast will also provide our viewers an opportunity to watch the parade live from their home if they are not able to attend in person and those participating will be able to see themselves again during our encore presentations," he said.
