Concord Band, Thursdays, June 19 through Aug. 7, at 7:15 p.m. Admission is per car: Members $10; nonmembers $15. Bring blanket or chairs. The Harvard Lions Club will be grilling, alcohol is permitted and well-behaved pooches are welcome.

Recycle Day and Bike Collection: All towns welcome to the Harvard Congregational Church Electronic Recycle Day and Bike Collection, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the church parking lot at 5 Still River Road, Harvard. Accepting all electronics to include monitors, computers, computer games, stereo equipment, copy and fax machines, printers, TVs and items that have a plug. We are also accepting any appliances, such as washers, dryers, stoves, refrigerators as well as lawn mowers, snow blowers with the gas removed, exercise equipment and grills. Low fees of $5 for computer, $10 for monitor or TV less than 19 inches; $15 for TV between 19 inches and 26 inches; $20 for TV 26 inches to 31 inches; wood console TVs, projection TVs $25; TV 32 inches and over $30. Any appliance, $10 each. Cellphones, car and truck batteries are free. We have no shipments oversees or in landfills.

Invasive Water Chestnut Pull on Nashua River in Pepperell: Volunteers are needed on from 9 a.m. to noon to help scout and pull water chestnuts, an invasive exotic weed, from the Nashua River in Pepperell. Gathering baskets and maps will be provided. Nashoba Paddler LLC in West Groton will be providing a limited number of canoes for use at no charge on a "first call, first served" basis. Recommended: Work clothes, shoes and gloves that can get wet (plants have sharp seeds), sunscreen, bug spray and water. Volunteers may bring their own boat and equipment. PFDs (life vests) are required. To reserve a canoe you must call Nashoba Paddler at 978-448-8699 before June 29. New England Amputee Assoc. meeting: Clinton Hospital, 6-8 p.m. This meeting will have a guest speaker that has yet to be announced. There will be discussion and refreshments along with a surprise free raffle open to all amputees and caregivers. Our meetings are open to all amputees, caregivers and healthcare professionals.
