Are you looking for a fun way to start jogging this spring?
In preparation for the May 18 Janis Bresnahan 5k Run for Education, come join us for the next six Saturdays at the Ayer Shirley High School Track at 8:45 a.m. to stretch and then at 9 a.m., to run/jog through the 5k Road Race route. We'll gather every Saturday with last group run on May 17 before the Sunday, May 18, road race. All are welcome and group runs are free and open to the public.

Mother's Day breakfast May 11
The Ayer Gun and Sportsmen's Club will sponsor a Mother's Day breakfast buffet on Sunday, May 11, from 8 a.m. to noon. Open to the public, this all-you-can-eat breakfast will be the final breakfast of the season.
Mothers eat free. For others, adults are $9, seniors are $6 and children 10 and under at $4.
The club is located at 255 Snake Hill Road in Ayer.

Rib Fest May 17
A Rib Fest will be held Saturday, May 17, at 6 p.m. at the Ayer Gun and Sportsmen's Club. All-you-can-eat slow-smoked barbecued pork ribs, corn bread and baked beans will be served.

Well adult clinic May 20
Nashoba Associated Boards of Health, in conjunction with the Shirley Board of Health, announces that a Well Adult Clinic will be held Tuesday, May 20, from 9:30-11 a.m. at Shaker Meadows, 32 Harvard Road. Drop in for blood pressure, pulse screening and diet teaching. No appointment is necessary.
