PEPPERELL -- The 18th annual Pepperell Green-Up begins Saturday, April 19, and continues through Sunday, April 27.

The Green-Up is a town-wide volunteer clean-up of litter and trash on roadsides and public lands in Pepperell.

A map of Pepperell and a sign-up list is posted in Lawrence Library. Stop by to sign up and pick up some garbage bags.

Public lands to pick up include roadsides, sidewalks, parking lots, schools, the rail trail, conservation lands, streams, hiking trails and other areas. Anyone can participate -- individuals, families, scout groups, organizations, businesses, etc., and everyone's efforts make a difference!

Filled bags can be left curbside. The Pepperell Highway Department will pick up the bags along the roadside beginning Monday, April 28.

Thank you for participating and for taking pride in Pepperell!

Thank you to the following organizations, whose donations allowed purchase of bags for the Pepperell Green-Up for this year and last: Donelan's, Nashoba Conservation Trust, North Middlesex Savings Bank, and the Pepperell Garden Club!
