Art in Bloom April 17-19
Join us for the third year of Art in Bloom, a festival of fresh floral arrangements and fine art at the Lawrence Library Art Gallery. This splendid spring celebration highlights the talents of local floral designers, and members of the Pepperell Garden Club, whose work will be on view next to the works of art that inspired them.

Free concert April 19 at Lawrence Library
Local musicians Rick Cooper and Pat Kenneally play an entertaining mix of roots, folk-rock, rockabilly, country and blues. They have opened for Ernie and The Automatics, Ronnie Earl and David Buskin & Robin Batteau.
Aurelia Perry and Joel Hooks will open the Saturday, April 19, program at 7 p.m., with the music and history of banjos!

Food Allergies: Deciphering Fact from Fiction, April 23

Food allergies are increasing at an alarming rate. Recent studies suggest that 1 out of 12 children have some form of a food allergy. Dr. Kumar will speak about his experiences with treating food allergies.
The focus of the talk will be to educate patients and caregivers about food allergies and dispel some common myths. A question-and-answer session will follow.

Mother's Day flower sale April 26
The 4th annual Boy Scout Troop 26 Pepperell Mother's Day Flower Sale will be held at the Pepperell Family Pharmacy on Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Proceeds help to fund scout outdoor programs such as summer camp and various high adventure trips.
There will be New Guinea Impatiens and combinations, each in 10 inch baskets for sale, as well as 6 and a half inch geraniums & gallery dahlia plants and a nice selection of 4-inch potted herbs.
The Friends of the Library Toy Yard Sale Saturday, April 26
9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Join us on the front lawn of the library for the Used Toy Sale, held in conjunction with the Town Wide Yard Sale day. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Lawrence Library.
You can donate your old toys during the library's operating hours from Saturday, April 19, to Friday, April 25. Just leave your items in the meeting room. Please, no stuffed animals!

Breakfast with the birds May 10
The Pepperell Conservation Commission and Nashoba Conservation Trust invite you to join us for Breakfast with the Birds on Saturday, May 10, at 6 a.m. at the Heald Street Orchard.
We will take a casual stroll through the orchard and identify a variety of birds (and possibly other wildlife).
Meet at the parking area at the east gate of the orchard.
Coffee, juice and a variety of breakfast foods will be provided. Bring your binoculars.

Plant sale May 17
Annual plant sale by Pepperell Garden Club -- 8 a.m. to noon, on Saturday, May 17, at (NEW location) the Pepperell Senior Center, Route 111, on Nashua Road. Beautiful healthy unusual annuals, member's hardy perennials, wildflowers and groundcovers, shrubs and trees, vegetables and herbs, and hanging baskets. Strawberry Festival in Hollis June 22
The Hollis Woman's Club and the Hollis Town Band have begun preparation and planning for the Strawberry Festival on Sunday, June 22. The annual event will be held on Hollis Town Common from 2-4 p.m.
