Hip Hop for Hope March 22 to benefit Pepperell Parents Pro Musica

A great family show full of energetic music and hip-hop dancing is coming in the Nissitissit Middle School Band's spring fundraiser March 22 from 7-8 p.m.

This is the first time such a show is being held in Pepperell. Fifth percent of the ticket price will go directly to the Pepperell Parents Pro Musica, the NMS band parent fundraising support group; and 50 percent will go to, to aid in research to fight Sanfilippo Syndrome.

Tickets are on sale now for the March 22 show. There is limited seating so please purchase tickets in advance. Tickets are $10 per person in advance and $12 the night of the show.

Library book sale March 21-23

The Friends of Lawrence Library Annual Book Sale will be held March 21-23 at the Pepperell Community Center. The hours will be Friday, March 21, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, March 23, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Book prices are: $2 for adult and young adult hard cover, $1 for youth (under 13) hard cover, $0.50 for paper backs, $0.50 for children's and young adult, and $1 for multimedia. On Sunday, $10 to fill a paper grocery bag.

Pepperell Community Center is located on the Route 111/113 Rotary in Pepperell.


NMS band program announces evening dance show March 22

The Nissitissit Middle School's band program has organized an evening dance show on Saturday, March 22, at the school, open to the public. Show time is 7-8 p.m.

This is a 50-50 fundraiser for the Pepperell Parents Pro Musica, the NMS Band parent group, and, an organization to raise funds for Sanfilippo Syndrome research.

Area dance group Phunk Phenomenon will perform. Come enjoy an evening of HipHop as Phunk Phenomenon Urban Dance Crews perform. Tickets $10 advance purchase; $12 at the door.

Free vision screening March 24

Nashoba Associated Boards of Health, in conjunction with the Pepperell Board of Health and D'Ambrosio's Eye Care Team, will offer FREE vision screening, including glaucoma screening and personal consultation with an ophthalmologist, on Monday, March 24, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Senior Center on Senior Center Road (off 37 Nashua Road Route 111). Drop in for blood pressure, pulse screening and diet teaching, along with blood sugar screening. No appointment is necessary. Mother's Day flower sale April 26

The 4th annual Boy Scout Troop 26 Pepperell Mother's Day Flower Sale will be held at the Pepperell Family Pharmacy on Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Proceeds help to fund scout outdoor programs such as summer camp and various high adventure trips.

There will be New Guinea Impatiens and combinations, each in 10 inch baskets for sale, as well as 6 and a half inch geraniums & gallery dahlia plants and a nice selection of 4-inch potted herbs.

Annual Town Meeting is Monday, May 5 (and Tuesday, May 6, if needed), at 7:30 p.m. in Nissitissit Middle School.
