PEPPERELL -- The St. Baldrick's Foundation, a volunteer-driven charity dedicated to raising money for childhood cancer research, will host one of its signature head-shaving events at Pepperell Park Street Fire Station on March 19, beginning at 6 p.m. until the last head is shaved. More than 30 participants are scheduled to shave their heads in solidarity with kids with cancer and raise money to conquer childhood cancers.
Over the the past 11 years, the Pepperell event has shaved 377 heads and raised more than $157,000 for childhood cancer research. This year's event includes a raffle and silent auction.
