Nashua Artists Breakfast Club
Saturday, Feb. 15
Noon to 2 p.m.
The Nashua Artists Breakfast Club is a group of professional artists from New England who have been meeting every Wednesday for almost 20 years in Nashua, NH and surrounding towns. Join us at the opening reception and meet the artists! Light refreshments sponsored the Friends of the Library. Coffee provided by Starbucks Coffee, Nashua, NH. The show will run through Saturday, March 1st.

Kyle Davis, an 18-year-old musician from Lexington, is often compared to Bruno Mars because of his powerful, emotional voice. jazzy runs, meaningful lyrics, and catchy melodies, Kyle creates a unique sound that is a combination of jazz and urban island. Swing Your Sweetheart ... Feb. 15
Learn to swing dance -- known as a group of dances that developed with the swing style of jazz music in the 1920s to 1950s.
Bring your family, friends, dance partner or come by yourself from 7-10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15, at the Pepperell Community Center.
Don't know how? From 7-8 p.m., join a lesson on how to swing dance. After 8 p.m.
Admission is $7 paid at the door (family maximum $21) and includes the lesson, dancing, drinks and snacks! There will also be door prizes and a large list of raffle items from such places like: High Country WorkWear, Blue Heron Promotional Apparel, SunCity Tanning Salon, Subway, Horseman's Exchange, and many more!
Proceeds from the dance benefit the 4H Pepperell Trailblazers. The club would like to donate to local food pantries and will be collecting nonperishable food items at the door for $1 off admission to the dance.
The 4H Pepperell Trailblazers will also be promoting Healthy Kids Out of School (www.healthykidshub.org), a program that supports staff and volunteers in organizations from around the country in adopting three simple guiding principles for healthier programs. These principles are: Drink Right -- Choose water instead of sugar-sweetened beverages; Move More -- Boost movement and physical activity in all programs; Snack Smart -- Fuel up on fruits and vegetables. A grant from Healthy Kids Out of School program is helping the club provide free food and drinks for everyone.

Nashoba Associated Boards of Health, in conjunction with the Pepperell Board of Health, announces that a Well Adult Clinic will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 19, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Senior Center on Senior Center Road (off 37 Nashua Road Route 111). NMRSD budget hearing Feb. 24 (snow date: Feb. 25)
The superintendent of schools will give an overview of the proposed fiscal 2015 budget for the North Middlesex Regional School District on Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. at the North Middlesex Regional High School auditorium. The public will be given the opportunity to address the School Committee relative to the proposed budget. (Snow date: Feb. 25.)
A copy of the budget will be available for review at the Educational Support Center, 45 Main St., Pepperell, after noon on Thursday, Feb. 20.

NMS band program announces evening dance show March 22
The Nissitissit Middle School's band program has organized an evening dance show on Saturday, March 22, at the school, open to the public. Show time is 7-8 p.m.
This is a 50-50 fundraiser for the Pepperell Parents Pro Musica, the NMS Band parent group, and JaredsFight.org, (www.jaredsfight.org), an organization to raise funds for Sanfilippo Syndrome research.
Area dance group Phunk Phenomenon will perform. Come enjoy an evening of HipHop as Phunk Phenomenon Urban Dance Crews perform. Tickets $10 advance purchase; $12 at the door.

Community Helpers Storytime

Stories, puppets, music and crafts for ages 18 months and up. Once a month, we have one of Pepperell's community helpers join us for storytime; this month, join us to welcome guest reader Paul Doroski, who serves in the US military!
