Second Chance will be holding a free rabies vaccination clinic on Saturday, July 13, at the Fitchburg Fire Station located at 33 North St., from 9-11 a.m.
The vaccination is free to the first 500 animals. Dogs must be on leash and cats must be in carriers.
If your pet is eligible for a 3-year vaccination, please bring a copy of prior vaccination information for our records. Please visit our website www.secondchanceanimals.org for more information on our programs and adoptable pets. Second Chance is also offering the distemper vaccine (DA2PPV) for $5 each animal.
This clinic is funded with a grant from the ASPCA.
Second Chance is a nonprofit 501c3 that began in 1999 in East Brookfield. The Shelter operates an adoption center in East Brookfield as well as the new Pet Wellness and Education Center in North Brookfield. The shelter relies on community support and grant funding to operate. The shelter facilitates adoptions, spay/neuter services, and many other programs that help to make pet's lives better.
