Christmas Extravaganza Craft Fair: St. Anthony of Padua Church in Shirley will hold its annual Christmas Extravaganza Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parish hall. The selection of handmade crafts is extensive and includes woodcrafts, quilted items, country crafts, many Christmas items, glassware, jewelry, cookie walk and much more. In addition to the crafts, a small portion of the hall is dedicated to new children's toys, books, games, puzzles and gently used Christmas decorations and gifts. Breakfast and lunch will be served.

Sunday Breakfast: The Ayer Sportsman's Club resumes its Sunday Breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m., until Mother's Day. The breakfast menu includes pancakes, French toast, omelets, sausage, bacon and ham, and free coffee and juice. Full breakfast $7. Orders-to-go also available. Proceeds benefit the children's fund. 'Something Wild' at NRWA annual meeting: 7 p.m., Devens Common Center, 31 Andrews Parkway in Devens. Keynote speaker will be Dave Anderson, host of New Hampshire Public Radio's Something Wild, and director of education for the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests. We'll be celebrating the accomplishments of the past year, electing officers and directors, and presenting our Conservation and Education Awards. The evening will include dessert, business meeting, awards and the keynote address. Ticket price is $20 per person. Christmas CD Release Party: The Firehouse Band will perform a free concert and Christmas CD release party at 7:30 pm at First Church Unitarian, 19 Foster St., Littleton. Each song tells a piece of the Christmas story. The band will play for 45 minutes, followed by a free reception. Flea market and craft fair: Christmas Flea Market & Craft Fair to benefit the Pat Brody Shelter for Cats will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the United Parish Hall, 39 Main St., Lunenburg. Lots of Christmas gift items, flea market items, decorations, handmade cat crafts, costume jewelry and homemade baked goods. All proceeds support the rescue and care of homeless cats and kittens.
Greens Sale: The 7th annual Greens Sale sponsored by the Groton Woman's Club will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (snow date: Dec. 2) at historic Williams Barn, 160 Chicopee Row, Groton. Concert series at The Healing Garden: The Virginia Thurston Healing Garden announces the next "Concert at the Garden" at 3 p.m. The Garden, in collaboration with Indian Hill, brings talented musicians and dancers to perform in this monthly series. Create a Gingerbread House: First Baptist Church of Littleton will hold its Gingerbread-decorating contest during the open house and town tree lighting and arrival of Santa Claus.
