The Nashua River Watershed Association's Outdoor Wellness Walking Program (NOWW) is adding two walks to its Saturday schedule, beginning Oct. 20: the Nashua River Rail Trail in Ayer at 9 a.m. and in Groton at 3 p.m.
The weekly walk schedule also includes Mondays and Wednesdays in Ayer at 8 a.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays in Groton at 8 a.m.
The walks are led by NRWA's land, water, and education program directors, covering about 2 miles for about 30-40 minutes. All walking paces are accommodated and all ages are welcome. For the comfort of all, no dogs, please. The walks are free and open to the public.
Pre-registration is required. Meeting location for walk will be provided upon registration. These walks are funded in part by a grant from the Nashoba Valley Community Healthcare Fund. To register or for information, please contact Al Futterman, NRWA Land Programs Director, at 978-448-0299, or email AlF@NashuaRiverWatershed.org.
