MARLBORO -- Main Street Bank announced the promotion of Ellen Dorian to president and chief operating officer. The promotion was effective Jan. 1.

Dorian will oversee retail banking, marketing, deposit operations and IT, and work closely with Wally Dwyer, future chief executive officer, to increase teamwork throughout the organization and make decisions that will benefit both customers and employees of the bank.
