PEPPERELL -- The Fall Classic youth soccer tournament will kick off its 33rd year on Saturday and will feature a record 100 teams from around the region.

The three-day event, October 6-8 at Nissitissit School's Glow Field complex at 33 Chace Ave., will showcase 14 divisions of teams across five age groups .

Included are boys, girls and co-ed squads in both non-competitive and competitive brackets of play.

Most of the tournament winners will be decided on Saturday and Sunday but Monday's Columbus Day slate will also highlight some championship excitement.

It is too late to register a team but it is not too late to plan on attending. The games are open to the public and parking is free.

One popular bracket is that of co-ed adult night soccer.
