The winners for the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce's 17th annual Taste of Nashoba are in!

About 40 local restaurants, food and drink purveyors, schools and businesses competed Wednesday night at Lawrence Academy in Groton in the annual event. They brought out the best in their repetoire, ranging from complex appetizers and entrees to ice cream created on the spot with liquid nitrogen.

The winners are:

Best Appetizer -- Great Road Kitchen - Sticky Tuna Tartar

Best Beverage -- Sunset Tiki Bar and Grill - Molokai Slinger

Best Entree -- Great American Grill - Chocolate & Beer Braised Short Ribs

Best Dessert -- Nashoba Valley Technical High School - Chocolate Raspberry Decadence

Best Presentation -- Nashoba Valley Technical High School

Runners up included:

Appetizer -- Devens Common Center - Wedding & Banquet Venue - Sesame crusted Tuna over wakame salad, spicey mayonnaise and sorvari sauce

Beverage -- Great Road Kitchen - Ginger Lime Margarita

Entree -- Baileys Bar & Grille- Roasted Beef Tenderloin with purple pervian mashed potatoes

Dessert -- Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream - Ice Cream made with liquid nitrogen
