WESTFORD -- Three students from Nashoba Valley Technical High School qualified for the DECA State Career Development Conference by virtue of their performance at the District Conference.
John Santosuosso, a senior from Townsend, qualified in the category of Marketing Management; Samantha Johnson, a sophomore from Ayer, qualified in the category of Entrepreneurship Innovation for her idea of a business called The Cupcake Zone; and Julia Masson, a sophomore from Westford, qualified in the category of Marketing Management Role Play.
All three are students in Nashoba Tech's Banking/ Marketing/Retail program.
DECA is a national organization for high-school students enrolled in a marketing program. It is the only student organization that prepares its members to be America's future leaders in the fields of marketing, management and entrepreneurship.
