DEVENS -- The Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce's 13th Annual "Taste of Nashoba Valley," sponsored by Hilton Garden Inn, Great American Grill, SpringHill Suites by Marriott and Devens Common Center will be held on Tuesday, March 18, from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Lawrence Academy Stone Athletic Center in Groton.
Once again, the Taste Committee will partner with local nonprofit organizations, offering those selected the opportunity to sell tickets while raising funds for their organization. This year the chamber is partnering with:
* Ayer Fire Department
* Ayer Shirley Lions
* Ayer Business Alliance (J&S Business Products & Kelley's Hallmark)
* Friends of the Lawrence Library (Pepperell)
* Friends of the Reuben Hoar Library (Littleton)
* Groton Fire Department
* Groton-Dunstable Booster Club
* Westford Historical Society & Museum
For each ticket they sell, the ticket partners will receive $5. For the past several years, the Nashoba Valley Chamber has consistently given over $2,500 back to the community through this event alone.
We anticipate 35-40 food and beverage vendors to participate in this year's event. The vendors currently registered to participate include: Great American Grill/Devens Common Center, Jack O'Lantern Wine & Spirits, Burton's Grill of Westford, Carlson's Orchards, Evviva Cucina, Bull Run Restaurant, Bailey's Bar & Grille, Devens Grill, Stonehedge Inn, Holiday Inn Boxborough, Shriver Job Corps Center, Coleman Catering, Michele's Totally Awesome Gourmet Popcorn, Nashoba Valley Technical High School, Groton Wellness, Slavin in the Kitchen, Annie's Gluten-Free Bakery and RiverCourt Residences.
