AYER -- On March 27, Nashoba Valley Medical Center is offering Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, a free one-hour lecture on developing stress-management skills that lead to a healthier lifestyle and long-term success.
The seminar will be facilitated by Kathy Benson, LICSW, a clinical social worker with more than 20 years of experience working with children, adults and families as a psychotherapist and emergency service clinician. Benson, a clinical social worker at Nashoba Valley Medical Center, completed teacher training at the UMMC Mindfulness-Based Stress-Reduction Program along with multiple trainings at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health.
A three-session workshop is also available. It will be held on consecutive Thursdays from 7-8 p.m. Dates include: April 3, April 10 and April 17. The cost for the three-session program is $65.
