Local mentoring program to host a night of food, fun
Are you looking for a Valentine's night out and at the same time to support a great cause?
Join LUK, Inc. as it celebrates its first annual Kids at Heart Mentoring Gala on Feb. 12, at the Doubletree at 99 Erdman Way in Leominster, from 5:30-10 p.m.
For $65 a ticket, the event will include musical entertainment by Trading Threes jazz trio and Platinum Productions, dinner, cash bar and live and silent auctions.
Proceeds from the event will support the LUK Mentoring program, which pairs positive adult role model volunteers with children between the ages of 6-17 who will benefit from an additional supportive adult in their lives. LUK is a nonprofit multiservice agency dedicated to improving the safety, health, and emotional well-being of youth, families and adults in central Massachusetts.
All proceeds raised from the gala will benefit at-risk youth from the communities of central Massachusetts.
Individuals interested in attending the event can visit 501auctions.com/lukgala to purchase tickets and view a list of auction items. People who are unable to attend but would still like to support this important cause can donate or bid on the silent auction items online.
