"The Treasure Hunt," a 30-minute drama film directed and written by Chelmsford residents Fred Barzyk and Ken Cantrell, respectively, premieres Saturday at 7 p.m. at Chelmsford Center for the Arts.
The short movie follows two 10-year-old boys whose neighbor offers them a treasure map pointing to buried toys that he has outgrown. Max Gofstein of Lowell and Jacob Murphy of Chelmsford play the two boys. The film was filmed last June in Carlisle, Chelmsford, and Westford, and was supported in part by a grant from the Chelmsford Cultural Council.
Tickets are available at the Chelmsford Public Library; admission is free. For more information, visit www.chelmsfordarts.com.
