On Jan. 19, the Nashoba Valley Chorale will commence its spring term with an outstanding repertoire of classical and contemporary works, under the artistic direction of Anne Watson-Born and accompanied by Debra LeBrun, musician extraordinaire.

This spring, the Chorale will present "There Is Sweet Music Here" by Steven Chatman, the "Trois Chansons" of Debussy, and madrigals and other love songs, along with the luminous and exquisitely beautiful "Requiem" by Maurice Durufle. We are excited to have Steven Bergman and the Littleton High School Chorus collaborate with us for our concert, scheduled for May 9.

Last fall, the Nashoba Valley Chorale performed at Grotonfest, Kimball Farm's Family Day, Littleton's tree lighting, and the ZooLights celebration at Stoneham Zoo. On Jan. 11, the Chorale reprised a favorite work, Beethoven's "Mass in C," at a well-received concert in Littleton.

The Nashoba Valley Chorale is an accomplished musical group drawing members from the Nashoba Valley, southern New Hampshire, and the Cambridge area. Visit nashobachorale.org for more information about joining this exciting and varied group of singers.

Our rehearsals on Jan. 26 and Feb. 2 are open to anyone interested. Rehearsal begins at 7:15 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 461 King Street, Littleton, and all are welcome. Call 978-486-4036 for more information.

Hope to see you there!
