TOWNSEND -- Townsend Police have applied for complaints and received a warrant of arrest from the Ayer District Court for Christopher Cummings, 33, of 523 Mechanic St., Leominster.

Cummings is believed to be the third individual involved in the unarmed robbery of Workers' Credit Union in Townsend on June 6.

Cummings' alleged accomplices in the Townsend robbery, John Martin, 32, of 1 Sumac Drive, Townsend, and Samantha Sorenson, 33, of 27 River St., Fitchburg, were arrested June 7 and June 13, respectively.

Cummings is believed to be the individual who entered the credit union and passed a note to a teller demanding cash.

Cummings is currently being held at the Worcester County Jail on $50,000 bail in regard to his suspected involvement in the attempted robbery of the Bank of American in Sutton on June 13.
