HARVARD -- The Harvard Lions Club will host its annual Bare Hill Triathlon on June 25. This USAT Sanctioned Sprint Triathlon will consist of a half mile swim in Bare Hill Pond followed by a 10.5 mile bike ride and ending with a 5k run to the finish line.

The Harvard Lions Club hosts this event to help support its many charities including those serving the blind, disabled and terminally ill children, wounded veterans and food pantries such as Loaves & Fishes as well as local families experiencing severe hardships.

Along with individual athletes, family and friends can enter as a team having each member complete a leg of the race. Grab your friends who run, bike, and swim and join in the fun!

Those interested in entering can register online now or on the day of the event. The cost is $75 per person plus the USAT daily fee of $15. Team registration costs $90 plus the USAT daily fee of $15 per athlete.

The registration area and finish lines will be on the grounds of the Harvard Public Library. Each person registered will receive a Bare Hill Triathlon T-shirt. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers, both individuals and relays. If you are unable to compete, we hope you will come out to cheer on the athletes and enjoy the festivities.
