SHIRLEY -- The Friends of the Hazen Memorial Library is pleased to announce its 10th annual Holiday Fair and Cookie Sale on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Admission is free.

The fair is the Friends biggest fundraiser of the year. All of the funds raised allow the Friends to sponsor programs and museum passes.

The following vendors are participating, including crafters and home party companies: Bethany Bee Apiary, Karon's Kozies, Silpada Designs, Barefoot Books, Sharon's Treasures, The Pampered Chef, Bright Light Accessories, Mary Kay, Tupperware, Gloria Tompkinson, Falling Leaves Farm Crafts, Bags by Leslie, United Church of Shirley, and Origami Owl Custom Lockets.

The Holiday Fair is your chance to purchase artisan wares, home essentials and unique gift items, plus take home holiday-inspired "tins" filled with your choice of hundreds of homemade cookies, generously baked by local residents for just $10.

No need to bake for the holidays. Come early for the best selection.

Hot soup, chili, chowder and stew will be available for purchase at lunchtime for $2 per cup.
