PEPPERELL -- Come on down to Pepperell Town Field on Tuesday, July 30, and go up, up and away as the RE/Max hot air balloon be at the Town Field preceding the concert on Tuesday, July 30.

Tethered balloon rides will be available beginning before the concert for a suggested donation of $10 to support the Friends of Pepperell Recreation and Pepperell Boy Scout Troop 13. Your donation will be split between the two groups.

Joanne Smith and Louise Knight, RE/Max Realtors, are co-sponsoring the July 30th Band Concert . They invited the Friends of Pepperell to staff the tethered balloon for the evening.

As part of the Friends of Pepperell's continuing efforts to collaborate with other local groups, the Friends invited Boy Scout Troop 13 to co-host the balloon opportunity. Volunteers representing both Friends of Pepperell and Troop 13 will be at the event.

The concert, a part of the Pepperell Business Association summer series, will begin at 6:30 p.m. with The Transistors performing 60s Rock.

Friends of Pepperell is a community group established to both expand and improve recreational facilities in Pepperell. Our first projects were the updated playground on Town Field, annual bike sale to recycle bikes, town wide yard sale and the Sept. 5K Covered Bridge Road Race.
